With our trends continually transforming, rebranding is an alternative to keep the brands alive and recognized.

Let’s go through the rebranding of these well-known companies who have left a remarkable impression on us!

Myntra

This online shopping store generated a meme-blowout after changing its logo due to a complaint lodged by Naaz Patel, a social worker and founder of Avesta Foundation NGO. She found it to be derogatory for women and the company agreed to change the logo within a month.

GoDaddy

The new logo, known as the ‘Go’ is an interlocking G and O representing the idea of creating your own way by going after your dreams. This sensational upgrade addresses a pristine direction for their company.

Cadbury

Our treasured chocolate brand has altered its logo after 50 years to construct an ‘elevated, authentic and high-quality logo which incorporates new iconography and typography. While the modifications are minute to preserve the humanity of the brand, some find it to be impractical.

Google Maps

Google Maps has gotten a revamp to its application plan and a new logo at the event of its 15-year celebration. Rather than a street, the Google logo and a dropped pin, the new logo is presently a solitary multi-shaded pin with the four usual Google colours.

Intel

The updated logo brings dimension and breadth to the brand. Blue remaining the brand’s most noticeable tone, Intel added new variations with an all-inclusive shading range to add more profundity and modernize the visual character.

Gmail

To create a harmonized workspace for Google, all the Google-based apps (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Photos, etc.) were created from Google’s signature colour scheme: blue, red, green, and yellow which owed to its loss of identification and differentiation.

Every coin has two sides, so is the reaction to these advancements. Some had an exceptional emergence, whereas others lost their identity in the process.

At the end of the day, what matters is your satisfaction as a customer!

“Products are made in a factory but brands are created in the mind”

— WALTER LANDOR

We have all daydreamed about starting up our own company. So, if you could start your own brand, what would you call it and what would the logo look like? We would love to hear your ideas in the comments.
